We partner with builders to bear the load of all of the decisions that come with building a custom home, and give you confidence that your style and story are being reflected in the investment you are making for you and your family.
We’ll partner along side you as you make decisions about the finishing features of your home… flooring, tile, lighting, hardware, paint, wallpaper, and much more.

Phase 1
Design Selections

By selecting this phase, Miss Amelia Home will craft a Construction Guide (see below) for you to review before you begin selections with each construction vendor (lighting, plumbing, hardware, flooring, etc). This includes 3D renderings of all of your selections with your floorplan!
Having this document created and reviewed/approved by you before you meet with a single vendor has proven to be wildly helpful in saving time and mental load.
This service also entails that Miss Amelia Home will be present for every single selection meeting with your builder’s preferred vendors.
Engaging with Miss Amelia Home in this first phase allows for us to work in tandem with your builder, and ensure the high-end home of your dreams is cohesively designed from the foundation, up.
This gives you peace of mind that each design selection made will compliment the one made previously, and will lighten the pressure that can come with making these pivotal decisions in a short period of time.

No matter how many hours are needed with your vendors in the selection meetings or how far away they are, we will simply charge a flat fee of $3400 to craft your custom Construction Guide, and be present for all meetings.

If you choose to have Miss Amelia Home by your side in both Phase 1 and Phase 2, we will reduce the costs associated with both phases by 20%.
Phase 2
Construction

After making all of your initial design selections, you will move into construction phase with your builder.
This service entails that we will meet with your builder on site for all pivotal parts of the process, like plumbing rough-in, electrical walkthroughs, tile placements, ect.
This service also entails that Miss Amelia Home will do an on-site check of your property once a month during construction, no matter if there are questions or not!
If you have any design questions about your home along the way, this service allows you to call Emily at any time to answer questions or solve problems!

If you would like to engage with Miss Amelia Home in the Construction Phase only, and not the first Design Selections Phase - there will be a $1500 investment to craft your custom Construction Guide (see below) in order to capture all of the selections you make.
No matter how many months of construction your home encounters, we will simply charge a flat fee of $2500 to be on call for you during the entire construction process. You can call about any type of design question or problem, and Miss Amelia Home will handle it for you!

If you choose to have Miss Amelia Home along side you in both Phase 1 and Phase 2, we will reduce the costs associated with both phases by 20%.
Phase 3
Furnishings

Phase 3 embarks upon the furnishings to finish out your custom home. For those who want to continue the design process beyond architectural choices, and see their dream home thoughtfully reflected in everything brought in on move-in day… This is for you.
Let’s make your investment into your dream home worth it, down to every last detail.
This phase entails a fully customized furniture design plan that will allow you to see how you will actually live in the space when construction is done.

To fully furnish a home of your size, starting from scratch, will typically be anywhere between $100,000 - $200,000, all-in with designer fees, shipping, and assembly.
But here’s where you can take a deep breath - we will absolutely create a design plan that includes the furniture you already own and want to bring with you!
We will work with the investment you have in mind. We will be able to give you a better idea of what to expect once we have a consultation with you about what furniture you’re bringing with you, and what you’d like to buy new!

If you choose to have Miss Amelia Home along side you for all phases, we will reduce the costs associated with this phase by 20%, as well.

This document will be “live” through-out your home-building process, and will be given to each vendor, builder, and project manager so that everyone is on the same page about your custom design elements at all times.
