So - I am very proud to say that Hannah and I have been true, good, life friends for about 7 year now! We met at church, and our families, including all of our siblings, are good friends as well. She’s a treasure of a friend, and I feel grateful for her love and dedication to caring for how I’m really doing all of these years.

Hannah and her husband, Matt, built their house a little over 3 years ago now, and they did a beautiful job - I seriously love her house. She came to me a few months ago and told me she was ready to let go of the notion that to have an “respectable adult” home, it has to be mostly neutrals and small patterns. Both of us maintain that we LOVE the look of modernly classic neutrals (and it’s a big part of my own home’s basis of design)… but it is not the ONLY way to feel at home. For Hannah, home is more colorful.

Thankfully for Matt, he’s really feels that he’s at home wherever she is. We can talk about his bachelor-era leather recliner set he brought into their first home another time… ;)
